The Coven Name:
We came up to name Sanctuary of Herbs after spending 3 days and 2 nights in celebrating our Yule at Mt. Makiling. While where walking(going home) discussing our personal experience and some coven related plans, our high priestess opened up the topic to suggest coven names. We came up to many suggested names but no one stand. Suddenly, came from no where, our High Priestess spoken and said, "How about Sanctuary of Herbs?" The firt time I heard the name, It sounds good and it seems like echo chanting on my ears so I said Yes! then others agreed too. Everyone likes it so, at that time, we decided that the name of the coven is Sanctuary of Herbs. It was December 29, 2007 between 9:30 am to 10:30 am.

The Brief History:
On the Samhain Celebration of 2007 which we held in Pulanglupa, we discussed things related to the coven which before named X-Laws Clan that seemed to seek clarifications and improvements. After that night, we decided to make a total revision of the clan and made it more organized. Everyone's agree and participate to the changes. On November 13, 2007, we made our dedication ritual for the coven. After the dedication ritual, we formulate our goals, coven law, rules and regulation, policies and teaching formats. In three executive weekly meetings, our High Priestess finished her discussion on basic wiccan magic. She conducted written exams and actual application of each topics. After the basics, we prepare ourselves and planned carefully for the Yule Sabbat where the oat taking will be made. We spend 3 days and 2 nights in Mt. Makiling for the celebration of Yule Sabbat starting December 27 to 29, 2007. While we were walking back home, our name Sanctuary of Herbs was found with the blessings of the God and Goddesses. Now we're here!
